SuperFly flight controller demonstrated on a Udi RC U816 brushed motor quadcopter frame. Features:
WiFi enabled; can fly using an iOS device
Supports 6CH cPPM receiver (e.g. OrangeRX R415X)
Based upon the the ESP8266 node MCU
Sensor fusion accomplished by EM Micro's EM7180 coprocessor
Invensense MPU9250 9-axis integrated MEMS sensor
MS5637 barometric pressure sensor
Enhanced barometric/inertial altitude controller
Four channels of integrated FET motor drivers
Arduino-based flight controller firmware
Full-featured HTML/JavaScript serial GUI
The craft is impressively stable and can easily be flown in a small room. The superior heading estimation capability of the EM7180 enables fully "Headless" flight. The craft can be easily flown around the room under continuous yaw rotation... Altitude control works well even with an eight foot ceiling
