This video will show how to install CrowdSec on a Windows server. By default, it protects against Remote Desktop Protocol attacks (RDP) and SMB attacks but has the potential to be way more like protecting your IIS, MS SQL Server, or any other services. Watch and learn!
CrowdSec is the first open-source security solution on Windows.
We’ve released an alpha version of our Microsoft Windows port which comes with a few Windows-specific collections:
RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) is similar to SSH on Linux / SMB (a client-server protocol allowing to access resources on the network) brute force detection
IIS logs parser (IIS is a windows webserver)
SQL Server brute force detection
Windows Firewall port scanning detection
