This is the exercise problems solution of the 9th edition of "Probability and Statistics for Engineers and Scientists by Walpole". In this video, I solve exercise problem 4.52 to find the Correlation Coefficient by using the joint probability function for discrete probability functions. Also the difference between correlation and covariance has been explained in this video.

4.52 Random variables X and Y follow a joint distribution
f(x, y) = 2, 0 x ≤ y 1,
0, otherwise.
