And let's begin. Now both Facebook and Google use so called browser fingerprinting, that allows them to track your devices on the internet. In fact, to track you think of this as a device fingerprint. These two companies, Facebook and Google are unique in terms of having an infrastructure that allows them to use a little bit of a spyware on an every single website that you use. For example, in case of Facebook, that is a Facebook Like button. In fact, it means that a little tiny facebook.com website is running inside every single website that has this opportunity to hit the Facebook Like button. It's like a little tiny embedded website, right. And browser fingerprint allows Facebook to know that your for example, Jane Smith, and you have visited several websites that have this opportunity of smashing the Facebook Like button, hence, it can track your browser history. And its tours this information inside Facebook servers forever. And this information can never be deleted, Google does basically the very same thing. And every single website on the web has this spyware from Google Analytics called Google Analytics. Everybody wants to have this Google Analytics to not only track the traffic on their websites, but to also have the opportunity to monetize their websites, blogs, whatever. But that also means that Google is able to identify all the websites that you visit hands again, it harvests all of your internet browsing information. However, Google does allow you to remove all of your browsing history. And you can stop Google from collecting this data in future in Google activity control. To be 100% honest with you, I'm not sure if they actually don't harvest your information up to you for be done doing so. But for now, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. But in case of Facebook, and they indicated in their terms of service, they keep your private data, and the continued to keep it forever, and there is no option to switch it off. So let's come up with a strategy that allows us to blog this two giants from collecting our private data. There are other entities that do collect our data as well. But they don't have this powerful infrastructure of doing so. And they don't have this infrastructure of spyware inserted into every single website that you visit. So can they can be blocked by other easier means. Now, here's the specific answer you've been waiting for. I suggest you installing as many browsers as you like on your phone or on your computer, at least free. And I do suggest isolating Google and Facebook in their separate browsers. For example, I suggest to use brave browser for Facebook and say Google Chrome for Google accounts. Not only Google, like Gmail, but also YouTube and other Google related accounts. And then you can use a third browser, fourth, fifth, and so on, for your private browsing. For example, you can use Firefox or opera or Vivaldi or any browser browser of your liking. This technique is called browser isolation. And let me tell you exactly what it does. Facebook won't be able to do their cross site browser fingerprinting. Since you are using different browsers, it won't be able to match your device ID thus, you're coming comings and goings on the internet will not be captured for storage inside Facebook's database. I like the term browser isolation because this is what it basically is. For example, I suggest to using Chrome browser for your Google accounts because it is owned by Google anyways. And for Facebook, I recommend using like brave browser because it has some cookie and ad blocking capabilities that will prevent secret backs ... ran out of the 5k character limit, sorry guys.
