Latvia - what are we doing here? Riga and surrounding areas.
It was supposed to be Lithuania, but it is Latvia. In the film, we'll explain the reasons behind this, and we'll also take you to the Baltic Sea. Jūrmala, so popular among Latvians and others, made a positive impression on us too. Tourism on the Latvian coast looks a bit different than here. While we're discussing the things that brought us to the Baltic countries, we'll visit the capital of this country, Riga.
Riga evokes mixed feelings. On the one hand, it's gray with Soviet remnants, but on the other, it's beautiful with restored Art Nouveau townhouses and wooden houses. It's definitely a place worth seeing and forming your own opinion. Riga boasts a beautiful old town, green parks, unique buildings, and the largest market in the Baltics.
