Welcome back to The Optimal Experience! Today, we are taking a microscope to the BlackSpace Engine to analyze FSR 4.1 Quality upscaling in Crimson Desert. While we still track the performance metrics, this video is all about pixel-peeping and analyzing the raw visual fidelity.
We test FSR 4.1 Quality mode at 1080p, 1440p, and 4K utilizing the Minimum, High, and Cinematic graphics presets (with Ray Regeneration enabled on Cinematic). We locked down our testing to a specific scenic water location to closely observe image clarity, fine background detail, and water reflection accuracy. We also uncover a persistent artifacting issue with the "High" preset and push the limits with a punishing sub-1080p bonus test.
