Speaking at the AHIBB State of The Nation - Spotlight on Johor event, YBhg Datuk Syed Mohamed Syed Ibrahim, President and Chief Executive of JCorp, emphasised Johor's critical role in the data-driven economy. Advances in AI and cloud technologies are driving growth in fields such as renewable energy, medical technology, smart logistics, and emerging sectors like drones and robotics.
JCorp's approach is centered on fostering robust public-private partnerships and engaging stakeholders across the value chain ecosystem. This strategy is pivotal in strengthening and diversifying Johor's economic contributions.
The event also saw the participation of the Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), Member of Parliament for Iskandar Puteri YB Liew Chin Tong, and former Minister of Finance 2, YB Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani, highlighting its significance in the regional investment landscape.
