I review newly launched HoneySwap (honeyswap.org), a decentralized exchange built natively on the xDai network. This means to use it you have to convert Dai to xDai using the xDai bridge and connect to the xDai network with your wallet (probably Metamask), but once there you can experience what trading feels like with really reasonable fees and really fast. The experience is more like what you get with a centralized exchange. The downside is of this publication it lacks liquidity pairs and I'm not sure how to get all tokens back from the xDai network to mainnet.
Will Honeyswap compete with Uniswap? I think maybe possibly, but then again, with Uniswap v3 coming and the first mover advantage, who knows.
