Lumberport Hill Road, also known as Bridge St. (where it crosses the bridge) or Church St. (where it goes in front of the church). or simply Lumberport Rd., or Harrison County Rte. 18. If you drive on this road, this IS "Almost Heaven" West Virginia and nature is one thing that we love or at least tolerate here; you should be advised that you may be sharing it with any or all of the following:
Wildlife, including, deer, bears, opossum, squirrels, etc.
Pedestrians
Bicycles
School Busses
Logging Trucks
Coal Trucks
Municipal Trucks
People driving too fast for conditions.
Appalachian mountain legends, like Sasquatch or Mothman. I cannot verify that these legends actually exist. Some of the locals say they do, I can neither confirm nor deny it.
People have died in wrecks on this road, but from the safety of your easy chair, enjoy the fall colors (or, if you prefer, the autumn colours)
Video was taken with an inexpensive ONN dash cam from Walmart. Not great quality video but for $25 it's a pretty good deal IMO.
