MS-DOS Crypt - Mega Man X
Yup, Mega Man X sure was ported on DOS. And it was ported by... Rozner Labs, of Mega Man 1 and 3 for DOS fame. Oh no!
But before you go running to the hills screaming, MMX is actually quite a step up from these two other atrocities. It's relatively faithful to the original, there's some wonkiness here and there and the music is atrocious, but it's playable! If you didn't have a SNES back in the time, this wasn't the worst way to experience Mega Man X.
