Strong and independent Zhanna (Alexandra Bortich) moved to Moscow long ago, leaving behind her hometown and her ne'er-do-well father (Pavel Maikov), who abandoned the family. However, his unexpected death forces her to return to organize the funeral. The only problem is that her dead father suddenly "comes back to life," continues calling his daughter "herring" just like he did 20 years ago, and is determined to spend his last day together. Now, Zhanna and her father, who has returned from the dead, are given an unexpected chance to mend their relationship by embarking on a wild journey to the haunts of her childhood.
