Xur sells exotic armor pieces, one for each class (Titan, Hunter, Warlock) every week. He also sells a random exotic weapon and two exotic weapon bundles with ornament. To buy exotic armor and weapon from Xur you will need Strange Coins. To buy exotic weapon bundles you will need Strange Coins and Silver Dust.
You can also buy several other useful items from Xur for Strange Coins like Heavy Ammo Synthesis, Three of Coins, Glass Needles, Exotic Shard and Mote of Light.
Xur is in average form this week. Buying recommendation: 4/6.
Titan: No Backup Plans exotic gauntlets - Shotgun kills trigger Force Barrier and Force Barrier’s duration is increased. This is a good armor, buy it if you like to run around in the crucible with a shotgun.
Hunter: Khepri’s Sting exotic gauntlets - Gain invisibility after crouching in place for a short time. Melee attacking an enemy from behind while invisible delivers 4x damage. Melee attacks apply a lingering damage effect. This is a very useful exotic in the crucible and in certain situations in PVE too, definitely BUY it.
Warlock: Heart of the Praxic Fire exotic chest armor - When Radiance is active, increased Agility and decreased ability cooldowns. This is a useless exotic, there are too small benefits and there are far better exotics for a Warlock. Buy it only to complete your collection.
Weapon: Super Good Advice exotic machine gun - Missed shots may be returned to the magazine. Landed shots may be replaced in the magazine from your reserves. In principle this should be a good weapon but there are similar weapons that do not take up an exotic slot, buy it only to complete your collection.
Weapon Bundle: Mida Multi-Tool and Arctic Survivalist exotic scout rifle. This weapon boosts move speed and fires on a hair trigger. This is a very good scout rifle especially in the crucible. Definitely BUY it.
Weapon Bundle: Suros Regime and Basilisk’s Glory exotic auto rifle. The bottom half of each magazine deals bonus damage and has a chance to return health on kill. Suros Regime is a great allrounder, definitely buy it.
