After drafting the Chromatic Cube a few more times, I feel very strongly that this is definitely the way you should draft the Chromatic Cube. As there is a distinct lack of interactive spells and cheap creatures, you almost always have time to resolve your threats. This truly feels like battle cruiser magic where everybody is rushing to play their biggest creatures as quickly as possible.
