After settling into University of Twente in Enschede, I finally took my first proper trip - 2 days in Amsterdam

🏨 WHERE WE STAYED:
Amigo Hostel (€22/night)
Clean, central location near Vondelpark
Perfect for student budget
🚊 GETTING AROUND:
2-hour train from Enschede
Trams everywhere in Amsterdam (day pass is good)
Very easy to navigate
🍽️ WHAT WE ATE:
🍛 Madras Cafe - Indian food (missed those spices!)
🍜 Famous noodle spot - Huge portions,
🥐 Lourens - BEST croissants in Netherlands
🍟 Dutch frites - Thick-cut with mayo
🎨 THINGS WE DID:
✅ Van Gogh Museum (€15 with student discount)
✅ Canal Cruise (€25, worth it!)
✅ Walking around canals (free & beautiful)
✅ Random exploring
