In this video, we'll talk about RB Leipzig. Many call them the most hated team in Germany. Fans of opposing teams have boycotted their matches on principle: Freiburg fans once preferred to travel to a third-division game to support a second-tier team, rather than attend a match against them. And even if they didn't boycott, they staged heated performances. In 2014, 20,000 Union Berlin fans cheered at stadiums wearing black ponchos—a symbol of the "death of football culture" due to the influx of money into the club. The most notorious incident occurred in 2016—at a German Cup match. Dynamo Dresden fans threw a real, bloody bull's head onto the field. Fans of many clubs refuse to even call the team by name, instead using the derogatory nickname "Banks." However, some fans call RB Leipzig an example of progress. I decided to personally go to Leipzig to get to the bottom of it all.
