This time, we'll create a long-lasting phosphor based on barium sulfide. We'll use copper ions, specifically copper sulfate, as an activator. The result is a phosphor that glows yellow under ultraviolet light and has an orange afterglow. Unfortunately, this experiment can't be repeated at home.
