Droopys Muriel Impresses At Newbridge
Connolly's RED MILLS will continue their support of Unraced Bitch competitions. Michael Phelan and John Geoghegan announced that the next one of these Stakes will commence in Youghal on the 11th of July. The Newbridge competition has been a fantastic success and we saw a potential superstar in the shape of Droopys Muriel, trained by John Linehan. She won the final of the Connolly's RED MILLS & NTSC Unraced Bitch Stake in impressive fashion. The daughter of Westmead Hawk missed her break, 5th at the opening bend, she turned in an excellent performance to stop the clock in 28.79. A fantastic crowd was present at the Kildare track and they witnessed a thrilling terrier race. The night was a resounding success and a lot of praise should go to the Newbridge Track Supporters Club, the staff and management of Newbridge Greyhound Stadium.
