Don't buy a Macbook though, unless its old, because new macbooks have soldered in SSDs and are bad
I hate apple, which is why instead of installing Mac OS X I installed Windows 7 Ultimate (obviously the best version)
Windows XP would also work on this 2009 Macbook Pro but I didn't put it on it because XP doesn't support Steam Game streaming
and with the assistance of Steam Game Streaming you can do some cool as fuck shit like play Doom
The 2009 Macbook Pro has a 9400M 256mb graphics card, which is not very good, and isn't much better than the 128mb Radeon X300 in the IBM Thinkpad T43
It nonetheless can run Crysis natively( not streaming) about the same as the T43 did, but with higher Resolution. (no gain in performance at 800x600, same performance as 720p)
Old steam games run fine on a macbook pro 2009 also
With the help of an SSD the framerates aren't actually all that much better but there is better frametimes on some of these games and less stutter, but I didn't show a proper comparison because the HDD that was in it was horrible and so slow that it would be an unfair comparison.
SSDs fix everything so go buy one.
