SKY fast & fixed Therapy Concept - long-term stable and successful oral
rehabilitation in minimal invasive implant treatment with reduced number
of implants
Parodontal compromised patients refuse dental treatment, due to the fear of removable and uncomfortable
prosthetic reconstruction. Also the proposed grafting techniques resulting in unkown postoperative
discomfort.
The placement of implants for fixed restorations without grafting procedures, requires a detailed
preoperative planning and the possibility to reduce the risk of complication especially for immediate
implant placement. Immediate loading with tilted implants requires components, which are optimized for angulated implant treatment.
In the last years clinical experience has shown that the adjunctive treatment with the antimicrobial
photodynamic treatment reduces significantly the risk of wound healing disturbancies. Immediate loading
in the combination with three-dimensional planning and prefabricated components is possible directly
after surgery and is the prerequisite for a long-term stable restoration. Comprehensive augmentation
procedures are not necessary, which results in a very high patient acceptance, due to the reduced surgical
efforts.
