Today, 56% of the global population lives in cities. This number is expected to increase to 68% by 2050. Our city governments are the stewards of valuable data, data systems and data policies. How might we better equip our cities to solve problems with data? The Open Data Policy Lab's City Incubator is a program to help public intrapreneurs from 10 cities around the world to develop their data innovation ideas into reality by providing dedicated support over a six month period from September 2021 to March 2022.
Part II of the City Incubator seminar will follow up to Part I's discussion, introducing six new intrapreneurs from Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA; Beer Sheva, Israel; Springfield, Missouri, USA; Mendoza City, Argentina; New York City, New York, USA; and Changunarayan Municipality, Nepal.
