In this two part workshop we will use Amazon Braket with Julia to introduce attendees to the exciting world of quantum computing. Getting started in QC can be daunting if you’re not already an expert in physics or CS. We’ll spend the first part of the workshop getting acquainted with the different types of quantum hardware available today and some introductory algorithms, which we’ll run on real quantum computers and simulators. Then we’ll build upon this and begin exploring using quantum hardware to tackle machine learning and optimization problems.
In order to access the quantum hardware and simulators during the workshop, we’ll be using Amazon Braket, which is a fully managed quantum computing service that helps researchers and developers get started with the technology to accelerate research and discovery.
