Valve product designer Greg Coomer hinted in an interview with This Is Game, that the company is working on a new VR headset. While Coomer did not confirm the existence of a specific product or a reveal date, he affirmed that there are "obviously several projects going on in-house" and that Valve remains committed to VR. The company posted a job listing last year seeking someone to "prototype, ship, and support" an advanced VR headset. In 2019, Valve released its Index VR headset, which has since received multiple software and hardware updates.
