Here is the path for you to copy and paste if you can't find iracing in your nvidia app Here is the path
C:\Program Files (x86)\iRacing\iRacingSim64DX11.exe
Copy and paste that into your file explorer to find the path for your nvidia app to source what exe you're adjusting the graphic settings too should it not already appear in your nvidia list of games.
In this video I explain how to fix any micro stuttering, frame rate issues, FPS drops or input lag you might get in iRacing.
Doing this stopped my iRacing frame rates dropping, stabilising my FPS and eliminated all microstutters.
Grabbing these settings and using them in other games or Sim Racing Simulators might also fix issues there too!
0:01 Identifying the problem
Micro‑stutter appears at the worst moments
Applies to both Nvidia and AMD users
0:34 First checks in iRacing
Ensure resolution and refresh rate match your monitor
Quick walkthrough of where to find these settings in Windows
1:42 Graphics settings basics
Many iRacing graphics options are CPU‑bound
These settings affect FPS, not micro‑stutter
2:36 The real cause: frame pacing vs. 360 Hz
iRacing runs physics at 360 Hz
Frame caps should divide evenly into 360 (e.g., 120, 90)
Uneven divisors (e.g., 165) cause inconsistent frame pacing → micro‑stutter
3:47 Why 120 FPS is chosen
Consistent performance on busy grids
Avoids CPU bottlenecks from DX11’s single‑threaded load
4:25 Counter‑intuitive step: turn off Nvidia Reflex
Reflex blocks the ability to set max pre‑rendered frames
Pre‑rendered frames affect latency and smoothness
5:07 Fixing latency in the Nvidia App
Turn ON Low Latency Mode
Turn OFF V‑Sync
Turn OFF global frame cap
Set Power Management to Maximum Performance
Texture filtering optimizations ON
AMD equivalent: Radeon Anti‑Lag
6:10 Why frame cap must be set in‑game
Two competing frame limiters cause stutter
iRacing should be the only limiter
6:29 Final reassurance
Following the steps should eliminate micro‑stutter
