✍ About the Liquid Text Animation Tutorial
We first subtracted the text from a rectangle using the Merge Shapes - Subtract command then used the Motion Path effect to move the water waves from behind the subtracted rectangle. The water waves are drawn using the Freeform Shape Tool.
