This is mix is dedicated to my life long friend Jose Commins that sadly was taken away by cancer this year, love you forever brother.
Since kids in a playground, we both were attracted to the first ever tech to show up, he owned a ZX81 later a ZX88, enough to rock our world.
We huddled around computer manuals in the playground together learning our way into BBC basic and comprehending all the commands.
From there on we were inseparable with a massive passion for IT from the onset back in the 80's.
Things really kicked off when we became Atari ST owners and formed the demo group Electronic Images, coding in 68000 assembler and pushing the hardware to unbelievable limits. It was such a beautiful era of discovery and development for us. Eureka moments galore.
We did everything tech, including decades of VJ'ing together for many club nights but one in particular called Digital City in London for a while back in the day at Corsica Studios.
Music to me was a big thing as an original 00's raver but later evolved DJ'ing skills and here I am.
I wanted this mix to be special, every track is representing walking into a club, being snatched into it's vibe and the night beginnings. I hope you will feel that too. Whether it's tapping your foot, head nodding or just sticking around for a listen.
