morning sifting
through more dreams than
she can hold in her
mind or sandy pockets
having wrestled
within herself
a long long time
throughout a strong
disturbing night
where this woman was
sketching life
with a stick in her hand
onto the wet earth
as she watched
her only reasons flow
away with the
dark ocean tide
