Mortal Kombat - A Killer Legacy: 30 years not dead yet - Part 1
Few games create such an instant and long-lasting legacy as Mortal Kombat. But the influences and pop culture that it was built from reach far wider than you may think. From the 70s rebirth of martial arts, 80s action heroes, violence and censorship all became key to the impetus of the long lasting fighter. It managed to define the early 90s so well, it was impossible it could have been made in any other decade.
