2* During filming in the California forest, the actors playing the Ewoks staged a joke "strike," wearing T-shirts that read "Revenge of the Ewoks."
3* Interestingly, the word "Ewok" is never mentioned in the film, even though these characters played a crucial role in the final battle on the moon of Endor.
