Analyzing our plastic catch from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch
Last week, together with @SustainableCoastlinesHawaii, we analyzed 12,000 kg of plastic collected with System 03 in 2024.
Our goal is to identify the sources and geographic origins of this debris, and compare data on plastic floating in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch with plastic found on Hawaii’s shorelines.
