A look at the Aqualung/Apeks Lifeline Aluminum Spool. This aluminum spool is sculpted super nicely, feels awesome in your hand. Comes in three sizes: 15m, 30m, and 45m.
The line is strong and made by climbing rope makers, apparently. There is a swivel to aid in alleviating line twist, a nice feature. It has a nice leader that is also durable.
Unfortunately, the spool is negatively buoyant, but we'll have to see in the water, just how negative it is.
