Summertime boondock: our first PNW dispersed campsite. Off-grid solo camping with my dog on BLM land
I've dispersed camped a few times back in Arizona, but this is my first time in the PNW. There were a couple of hiccups and nerves got to me a couple times, but otherwise, it was a very relaxing overnighter of cooking, reading, and the occasional spat of gunfire.
Unlike when I camp at campgrounds, I keep dispersed sites under wraps. The availability pool is much smaller than that of campground sites. I will say that I found this area on iOverlander and verified with Google satellite imagery and BLM motor vehicle use maps.
