Lizzo & The Creative's Curse...Dealing With Trolls
This past weekend, Lizzo released her latest song "Rumors"...and the reception was problematic.
In this video, I left my eyebrows behind and put on my safety goggles in order to unpack the response Lizzo got to her new music, her interpretation of that response which led to her breaking down in tears on Instagram, and most importantly, I talk about her enduring positive impact on society despite the negativity she so often receives.
I also attempt to sing the song...it does...not go well.
