Inside Argentina’s CANDU Reactor, Embalse Nuclear Generating Station
In this video, I go to Argentina and visit the CANDU-6 reactor located at the Embalse Nuclear Generating Station. This is a CANDU-6 single unit reactor. In this adventure, I got a chance to go inside the reactor site, meet the professionals that work here day to day, and immerse myself in the nature that surrounds this site.
Throughout my visit, I had the opportunity to meet the dedicated professionals who operate this facility. Their expertise and commitment to safety are evident as they guide me through the various systems and processes that keep the reactor running smoothly. From the intricate mechanisms used to handle spent fuel to the advanced instrumentation that monitors the reactor's performance, every detail is fascinating.
