Video done for Logitech Support. Problem solved, was defective and I got a new one.
G27 is a noisy wheel, be sure to have the game configured properly to avoid clipping or clunky sounds, always check game options, .
To be sure if the wheel is defective Logitech support give me some tips:
"Based on your description, it seems that the two Force Feedback motors are continuously struggling against each steering limit, which eventually forces the helical gears to push or pull beyond its point of expected resistance. The clunking noise is probably caused by loose helical gears or miscalibration of the two motors.
Try to use the native Windows calibration tool to realign these helical gears. This will also help you isolate whether it concerns a simple recreation of Windows wheel profile, or a hardware-related issue.
Here's how:
For Windows XP:
Go to Control Panel.
Double-click the Game Controllers icon.
Hold down the CTRL and SHIFT keys at the same time then click on Properties.
Go to the Test tab first and test the controls on the wheel.
Go to the Settings tab.
Click on Calibrate and follow the on-screen instructions.
For Windows Vista / 7 / 8:
Go to Control Panel, Hardware and Sounds, Devices and Printers.
Right-click on the Logitech G27 Racing Wheel USB.
Select Game Controller Settings.
Press CTRL + SHIFT + Left click on Properties.
Go to the Settings tab.
Click on Calibrate and follow the on-screen instructions."
"Be sure to use motherboard usb port, no hub or front one."
"Try to launch game with/without Logitech Gaming Profiler"
I hope this can help. Regards.
