NextBase NBDV512G Dashcam Battery Change
The main problem with NextBase dashcams that after a year or so, the rechargeable battery won't hold a charge for more than 30 seconds.
The solution is to replace it with a new one, now after the repair, the new battery now holds the charge for more than 20 minutes.
This is important as you can set a delay switch off from 10 seconds, 2 minutes or 5 minutes. This will allow the dashcam to continue recording even with the main power from the car is disconnected.
The positive and negative is marked on the PCB, so take care when soldering the new wires from the battery.
I got the battery from a eBay seller and the new battery is great.
