I am very happy to present to you my newest run with a lot of improvement, and even gold splits in all ages!
To accomplish this goal I did a lot of practicing in all ages.
Age 1 was already very optimized but I tweaked a little things to make placement a little faster resulting in a small time save. But I don’t see a lot of time save possible in age 1.
In age 2 I changed the build order quite a little, the idea is still the same as before but this time the layout of the city is a bit different, part of this is thanks to deathbringer and another part is thanks to myself. The result is a rater quick age 2 without any fires or riots so that is very nice. After finishing up age 2 I also changed the post age 2 waiting time to 3 months instead of 6. Also I build a lot of pastures and didn’t demolish any trees like I did in previous runs.
In age 3 I made a little mistake by setting the tax for industry to 4 instead of keeping it at 22 so I lost some money on that. Taxing industry would also be possible in age 3 since I didn’t have any actual industry besides the pastures. The pastures I build in age 2 were enough to meet the demand of industry in age 3. After finishing age 3 I wanted to use my money to demolish some trees instead of age 2 but I didn’t click fast enough causing me to get a message and losing 10 sec :c.
For age 4 I used the same strategy as my previous run but I did change the amount of taxing during the age, this could also lead to a larger time save whenever I would do more practicing with this.
