Today we will see how to turn off the notification to confirm NIP code on Signal Messenger.
At times, when starting the application, we may be asked to confirm the NIP code of our account in order to better remember it.
As a reminder, in Signal messaging, the NIP is a code allowing, if necessary, to recover our account and all of its information contained, such as profile and blocked contacts.
Thus, if we wish to retrieve it later, in particular by changing the phone number or mobile device, it is important to have it memorized because we will be asked for it.
Otherwise, it will not be possible to recover it without it.
If you are sure of your memorization, you can still deactivate this reminder.
In this case, on the home screen, we will go to settings by pressing our avatar.
Then, we will go to the “confidentiality” section.
Then, at the very bottom of the screen, in the Signal PIN section, we will deselect "PIN reminders", and indicate the code in question.
As a result, the memorization reminder is disabled on the Signal messaging home screen.
