i am replacing this old video with this new .mkv format,
it is the same video,
although they don't sell faceshift anymore, this is also the same principle for other mocap software, like brekel. (in this 2 part series we separate the face components, place the markers on the daz3d model, and import it into faceshift.)
disclaimer:
got some 'dis-likes' for this vid. yes those are mammary glands, all mammals have them. i put them there on purpose as a test. for two reasons, 1. some people think it is unnatural to spend so much time with computers, and not communicate with other humans. and 2. despite my best efforts to maintain a 'G' rating in this 33 hr course, some times the camera stops on ambiguous body parts for more than a second, which should not meet or exceed the charm in said picture.
this seems a contradiction as i made this series for my religion as i found that most cg schools were rife with profanity and sexual innuendos. i made this 33 hr series to explain some of the software and hardware that could be used to make film; which gives a broad overview of the industry and is intended to help a student navigate the course syllabus of an actual college. so... you don't spend 3 months and several grand studying something that doesn't help you reach your goal.
