Conference Room Table Pop-up Jack Installation
This is a time lapse video of a common item we install - a pop-up jack - and in this case it's being installed into the conference table of a small conference room. This jack will provide discrete wired connectivity to the projector, the organizations network, 120V power for charging devices, a USB power charging for mobile devices and tablets.
All of the wiring for this pop-up jack originates from a pre-planned location and conduit in the floor. The wire travels up one leg of the table, through the underside of the tablet and over to the jack. One aspect of the installation that takes careful execution is the wire management and application of a proper strain relief under the tablet jack itself - without that the pop-up action will not perform smoothly.
