Did you know that in project zomboid there is a “secret” radio channel that tells you about the weather for the current and the upcoming day? Every playthrough has a unique radio frequency. First, you need to find a radio that has the channel in its presets, and then you can manually access the frequency on any radio. The emergency broadcast channel also gives other useful information such as the temperature, that way you can choose your clothing more carefully. It also mentions extreme weather events in the upcoming week such as thunderstorms, tropical storms, and blizzards. The radio broadcast also mentions the helicopter event. This means that you can stay inside that day and avoid being spotted. Finally, it also mentions information about the power grid and how long it will take until it shuts down. Once it is down it is followed with the message: Knox power grid: blackout.
