Conversations In Autism - Trust
CONVERSATIONS IN AUTISM is a video series. They are real life conversations between me, Chad Youngquist, a neurotypical father, and my son max, who is autistic. These conversations are designed to get inside the head of an autistic teen to hear directly from him what certain aspects of autism are like and how they affect him. This series is also designed to help other families living with autism better understand their own situation. There is no order to these videos. There is no sequence. They are ongoing. They are uploaded sporadically with our other videos when Max feels up for another conversation. They are driven by him. He holds the keys to what gets filmed and what gets posted.

Bio
My name is Chad Youngquist. I’ve been a special needs father since 2007. My son Max is autistic. I’ve learned a lot over the years, and a lot of it is stuff I learned the hard way. Sometimes I wish someone would have told me how to do this. But no one knew to, and if they did, they would never have been able to tell me about our specific circumstance. So as I try to help others, I have to realize that we’re not all in the same boat. So whatever you see on this channel, my hope is that most people can learn something from it. I try to respond to all comments, so hit me up if you have questions.
