Cobb County High School Students Need Smoking Permit to Smoke on Campus (November 13, 1980)
Ernie Bjorkman reports from Wills High School in Cobb County. High school students smoke in the campus courtyard during a break between classes. Bjorkman explains the school will soon start to require students to obtain a smoking permit. During an interview, the Cobb County superintendent explains the real objective behind the permits is to curb adolescent tobacco use. Bjorkman interviews the principal of Wills High School who praises the new rules. Students participate in a tobacco awareness class.
