Video Overview
This lecture introduces the fundamental concept of limits of sequences. We’ll explore what it means for a sequence to approach a particular value, the rigorous epsilon definition of a limit, and how this relates to the behavior of sequences as n tends to infinity. We’ll also examine different types of sequences, including those that converge, diverge to infinity, and have no limit. Finally, we’ll motivate why the concept of limit is crucial for evaluating functions and for defining continuity and smoothness.
