How to flash a PIC microcontroller in 2025: PICKit3 or MPLAB Snap?
The newest MPLAB software no longer supports the PICkit3. Does that mean you have buy the new PICkit5 for $100? No, you can just keep using your PICkit3, or switch to the affordable MPLAB Snap programmer. This will help you figure out what is the best choice for you.
