A young genius, poet, artist, and excellent student named Alyosha Sidorov arrives at a summer pioneer camp. At the same time, a character reference is sent to the same camp for a boy with the same first and last name, but he's a complete hooligan, a failing student, and a lazybones. After reading it, everyone without exception began to treat Alyosha accordingly, viewing all his talents as malicious violations of the rules. So the entire group began trying to rehabilitate him. And the better he performed, the more hopeless they considered him.
