In this video I explore the level of impact resistance and damage that different blocks can protect your ship from in Space Engineers.
I have a tendency to crash my ships into the ground after running out of power, or by overshooting the breaking zone for a landing and running square into what I was meaning to land on. As a result I thought it might be useful to explore what type of common landing blocks might better protect a ship in that situation.
The results surprised me, I recorded this video first then went back to test it all again and what I've shown was pretty consistent with my experience over multiple tests, well pretty consistent within the bounds of what Space Engineers does.
