What happens when you try to use Claude Design for eLearning development instead of traditional authoring tools?
With AI tools evolving fast, it’s getting harder to ignore the question: Could tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, and others be replaced by something like this?
So in this video, I put Claude Design to the test. Not a demo. Not hype. A real, first-time experiment building actual eLearning experiences from scratch.
We’ll walk through:
What Claude Design actually is (and what it isn’t)
Building a full eLearning course interface with prompts
Creating interactive elements like tabs, hotspots, and knowledge checks
Designing a custom interactive infographic from scratch
Where things feel impressive…and where they break
The real challenges (cost, editability, LMS tracking, accessibility)
Because here’s the reality: Yes, this is incredibly powerful. But it also raises some big questions about how eLearning development actually works in the real world.
File management. Collaboration. Compliance. Consistency. All the stuff people don’t talk about when they show flashy AI demos.
So is this the future of eLearning development? Or just another interesting tool with limitations?
Let’s find out!
