AMERICA’S NEW TOP DOG IS… COOKIE!
For shelter dogs, first impressions can be the difference between life and death. Unfortunately, too many deserving dogs are being overlooked by adoptive families just because of their appearance. That’s why Wahl, Greater Good Charities, The Animal Rescue Site and animal advocate, Lee Asher, have teamed up for the twelfth annual Dirty Dogs contest. Wahl donated grooming supplies to shelters across the country, and in turn they shared makeover pictures, and finally, the public voted for their favorites.
And the winners in the 2023 Dirty Dogs contest are…
1st Place: Cookie - $10,000 for Kansas Humane Society
2nd Place: Madeline - $3,000 for NYC Second Chance Rescue
3rd Place: Scar - $2,000 for Valley Animal Center
