Opening to The Bugs Bunny Road Runner Movie 1981 VHS
Yeise? The oldest Looney Tunes VHS videocassette I have ever collected! I have scored this off of eBay recently.
My father is a huge Looney Tunes fan and he use to watch the cartoons when he was a child. He use to have this particular VHS among other Looney Tunes VHS. He hide all the tapes in his gun cabinet as to avoid competition over the mouse. Well, he called Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies the bunny, as Bugs Bunny is the mascot for Warner Bros and Looney Tunes.
Current prints have the \\' being plastered by the WB-shield. This particular VHS made in 1981 has \\'. I haven't seen this movie until I was in High School and it opened with the WB shield. It makes me wonder that if the movie opened with as I drawn the \\' logo on paper. After looking up on CLG, the Bugs Bunny Road Runner Movie opened with a \\' logo and you can find it on older VHS prints of this movie. After so many years and going through Goodwill on finding the VHS, I have scored it off eBay!
