Aerial shots of Iwo Jima on D+22 and D+23, filmed from an observation plane. Focus is on the Northwest corner of the island with views of other aircraft, roads through hilly and flat terrain, combat vehicles, Marines on foot and of the shore with a ship close by. Marine armor operations are shown, with the majority of the film featuring flame-throwing tanks.
